Our panel includes:
COLIN BLUMENAU, director of critically acclaimed productions of Inchbald's Animal Magnetism, Wives as They Were and Maids as They Are, and The Massacre at the Theatre Royal, Bury St. Edmunds in 2008-9.
KATIE BONNA, writer and performer of the one-woman show The Celebrated Mrs Inchbald (2008).
MISTY ANDERSON, James R. Cox Professor of English at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and author of Female Playwrights and Eighteenth-Century Comedy (2002).
PAULA BACKSCHEIDER, Philpott-Stevens Eminent Scholar at Auburn University and the editor of Inchbald's plays (1980).
LISA FREEMAN, Professor of the English at the University of Illinois at Chicago and the author of a new article on Inchbald's dramatic theory and criticism.
The roundtable will be chaired by David Taylor (University of Oxford).
As a special treat, we'll also be showing rare footage from Blumenau's acclaimed 2008 production of Wives as They Were and Maids as They Are.
